His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Edict (81) of 2023, amending Article II of Edict (56) of 2022, promulgating the issuance of Zoning Regulations for Construction across the Kingdom of Bahrain, based on the proposal by the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, following the approval of the Cabinet.
Article (I)
According to the edict, Article II of Edict (56) of 2022 shall be replaced with the following:
"Applications for licences issued in accordance with the zoning regulations for construction across the Kingdom of Bahrain issued by Edict (28) of 2009 will be accepted, provided that they are submitted before December 1, 2023."
Article (II)
Those concerned, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this edict, which takes effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
