India’s FM: Gaza-ceasefire must be reached as soon as possible


RIYADH: India’s Foreign Minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, said on Monday that a ceasefire must be reached as soon as possible in the Gaza Strip, which is subjected to a devastating Israeli aggression.

In a speech delivered during his participation in the GCC-India Ministerial Meeting for Strategic Dialogue, held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Jaishankard expressed grave concern over Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza.

He conveyed his pain at the killing of innocent civilians, stressing his country’s support for a two-state solution.
