Rabat: The King’s Prosecutor at the Casablanca Correctional Court announced on Wednesday that the Public Prosecutor’s Office has decided to release the individual named A.M after examining the various case documents, continuing the investigation, and carrying out the necessary technical assessments.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the King’s Prosecutor stated that, following the press release published regarding the circumstances and reasons for the arrest of the individual named A.M, the person concerned was brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday. He was questioned about the allegations against him in line with the provisions of the law, while benefiting from all the rights and guarantees provided by law, including undergoing a medical examination.

In a statement, the King’s Prosecutor specified that the Public Prosecutor’s Office decided, after examining the various case documents, to continue the investigation, proceed with the necessary technical assessments, and release the individual concerned. Additionally, the items seized in his possession, namely two computers, a USB drive, and a mobile phone, were returned.

Appropriate legal measures will be taken once the investigation is completed, the same source concluded.
