Industrialization: Morocco, Strategic Partner for Poland – Minister of State Assets


Warsaw: Following talks with Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, Balczun praised Morocco’s progress in industrialization and economic attractiveness, noting that the kingdom has become a strategic partner in Africa and the Euro-Mediterranean region.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Balczun highlighted Poland’s intention to strengthen economic ties with Morocco through concrete partnerships and investments in high-value sectors, including defense industry, agri-food, and advanced technologies. The goal is to achieve complementarity and create sustainable jobs in both countries.



For his part, Mezzour affirmed that Morocco and Poland share a strong industrialization dynamic and promising prospects for cooperation. He noted that the discussions covered various industrial sectors with high potential.



Mezzour also emphasized the already established presence of several Polish companies in Morocco, pointing out that the meeting allowed both parties to express strong intentions to develop investments that create value and employment in Morocco and Poland.



The discussions primarily focused on enhancing economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the automotive, aeronautics, renewable energy, agri-food, and high-tech sectors.



In this context, the two ministers agreed to continue consultations to establish a reinforced cooperation framework. This framework is expected to foster new industrial initiatives and support the energy transition in both nations.
