Injuries in an attack by Israeli troops, colonists in Hebron

HEBRON: A number of Palestinian sustained injuries this afternoon in an assault by Israeli colonists and occupation forces in Masafer Yatta region and the city of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local sources. The sources informed WAFA that colonists attacked the village of Lesfeir in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, where they physically assaulted elderly Mahmoud Abu Qubeita, causing him injuries and bruises. The colonists also vandalized properties belonging to local residents. In Hebron, Israeli occupation soldiers stationed at a military checkpoint t Shuhada Street assaulted two local Palestinians, hitting them, as they attempted to reach their homes in Tel Rumeida neighborhood. Simultaneously, Israeli forces stormed the nearby town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters towards the homes of citizens.
