Interior Minister Engages in Security Dialogue with Serbian Counterpart in Marrakech


Marrakech: Interior Minister held talks in Marrakech with his Serbian counterpart to reaffirm the mutual will to strengthen the bilateral partnership and boost cooperation between the two countries in fields linked to security, the Ministry of the Interior said in a statement.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, discussions also delved into several shared priorities, mainly security and operational cooperation, managing migration flows, as well as training and the exchange of capacities. The two officials emphasized the importance of further developing the sharing of information, boosting institutional capacities, and promoting joint actions adapted to current challenges.



In the same vein, the two ministers expressed their determination to deepen the existing cooperation and provide impetus to new initiatives at the service of stability, security, and development. For his part, Laftit recalled the importance of coordination between the different partners and reaffirmed, to his Serbian peer, the Kingdom of Morocco’s commitment to an active, solidary, and responsible cooperation, at the service of regional stability and global security.
