The Ministry of Interior confirmed that five Bahrainis were detained by the legitimate Yemeni authorities for security reasons.
The Legal Affairs Directorate of the Ministry of Interior reported that the Yemeni authorities promptly informed the ministry following the detentions. The detainees are in good health, and legal proceedings are underway.
The Ministry of Interior is closely monitoring the situation to ensure their return to Bahrain once the required procedures are completed.
