GAZA: Israeli warplanes bombed today the upper floor of the main building of the Shifa Medical Complex, west of Gaza City, coinciding with the ongoing shelling in its surroundings.
Medical sources reported that the occupation soldiers treated hundreds of patients, displaced people who sought refugee inside the Complex inhumanely, whether women, children or men.
Meanwhile, The Israeli military forces further detained several men, health workers and medical staff, according to eyewitness.
The Israeli army further ordered those in the complex to leave, using loudspeakers, and send warnings to the civilians in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital to evacuate their homes and head to the south of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources announced that the occupation forces had detained about 500 civilians from the Al-Shifa Medical Complex and its surroundings in Gaza City, since the start of the storming operation last week.
Furthermore, the Israeli occupation forces continue to besiege the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, in the
Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City, for the eighth day in a row.
Meantime, five Palestinian patients were pronounced dead at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, due to the absence of health services, food, and water, and the power outage in the intensive care units.
Patients and displaced people inside the Complex, which has been under strict Israeli military siege for eight days, are facing dire and inhuman conditions, added sources.
The occupation army continues to storm Al-Shifa Hospital, which houses about 7,000 displaced people and patients, and is carrying out a massive campaign of detentions and killings among the displaced persons.
In addition to the burning of the healthcare facilities inside the Complex, Israeli fighter jets continue to intensively bomb multiple inhabited homes surrounding the Hospital.
This is the second time that the occupation forces have raided the Al-Shifa Complex since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza on October 7, as they stormed it on November 16, after besiegin
g it for a week.
The Ministry of Health said that 12 hospitals are partially operating in the Gaza Strip, six of which are in northern Gaza, in addition to three field hospitals that are partially operating, and seven UNRWA health centers are still partially operating.
