JERICHO: Israeli occupation forces Monday demolished an agricultural barracks in the village of Al-Jiftlik, north of Jericho, according to a local official.
Head of Al-Jiftlik village council, Ahmad Abu Ghannem, told WAFA that Israeli forces, accompanied by a heavy bulldozer, stormed the Abu al-Ajaj community in the village of Al-Juftalk and demolished a 90-square-meter barracks owned by a local resident. The Barracks is used for the manual sorting of the dates harvest.
In the meantime, a colonist stormed an Arab community northwest of Jericho and grazed his sheep there.
Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that a colonist stormed the Arab Mlihat Bedouin community and grazed his sheep throughout the community in a provocative manner.
The occupation targets citizens and their private properties in Area C of the West Bank, which makes up over 60 percent of the occupied West Bank, to force Palestinian residents to leave for the benefit
of colonial expansion.
