Rabat: His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, received the newly appointed members of the Constitutional Court at the Rabat Royal Palace on Thursday, 18 Dhul Hijja 1477 AH, corresponding to June 4, 2026. The appointments were made in accordance with the Constitution’s provisions and the Court’s organic law, specifically concerning the renewal of one-third of its members.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the appointed members include Mohamed Amine Benabdellah and Saad Rhzioual Berrada, who were appointed by His Majesty the King. Mohamed Amine Benabdellah has been appointed as the President of the Constitutional Court. Additionally, Ahmadu El Baz was elected by the House of Representatives, while Abdelhafid Adminou was elected by the House of Councillors.
During the audience, the new members took the oath of office before His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who presided over the ceremony.
