Amman:U.S. academic Samuel Millner highlighted that the speech by King Mohammed VI indicates a significant change in Morocco’s approach to migration cooperation with European countries. The King expressed Morocco’s intent to define the framework and terms of this cooperation independently, moving away from rhetoric and controversy.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Millner noted that this strategy would enhance Morocco’s credibility as a reliable partner, focused on presenting its solutions rather than waiting for European proposals. He also mentioned that Morocco is preparing a strategic vision document aimed at fostering co-development, economic competitiveness, and regional stability.
