New York:Kuwait has reiterated its support for the Moroccan autonomy initiative concerning the Southern Provinces.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Kuwaiti representative conveyed this stance before the United Nations General Assembly’s 4th Committee, applauding the recent adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 2797 related to the Moroccan Sahara.

The Kuwaiti diplomat highlighted the importance of continuing negotiations in good faith to achieve a final political resolution and to bolster security and stability in the region.
