Rabat: The bill was approved by 165 representatives, opposed by 55 with no abstentions, through a similar process to the previous adoption of the Finance Bill’s second part by the House.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the number of amendments to the bill received by the Finance and Economic Development Committee amounted to 350 amendments, including 328 amendments for the first part and 22 amendments for the second part.
Amendments were divided as follows: government (2 amendments), majority groups (23 amendments), Socialist Group-Ittihadi Opposition (73), Popular Movement Group (46), Progress and Socialism Group (37), Justice and Development Parliamentary Group (117), and MP Fatima Tamni (30 amendments).
