Rabat: During the meeting, attended by Mauritania’s ambassador to Morocco, Ahmed Ould Bahia, the two sides reaffirmed the strong historic and spiritual ties between the two countries and the good relations that they entertain, the Lower House said in a press release, adding that they have also reviewed the Kingdom’s major projects and the development initiatives for African led under the enlightened Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, on this occasion, they highlighted the excellent bilateral parliamentary relations, crowned by the holding of the first session of the Morocco-Mauritania Parliamentary Economic Forum in Nouakchott, which will serve as a key vector to encourage investment and strengthen economic integration between the two countries, the same source emphasized.
It will also serve as a privileged channel for dialogue and parliamentary consultation, strengthening communication at the bilateral and multilateral levels, and as a keystone to promote the exchange of parliamentary experiences and expertise, the press release concluded.
