Lower House Speaker Meets Dutch National Academy for Finance & Economics Delegation


Rabat: The talks between the two parties focused on the role and powers of the legislative institution in reinforcing financial efficiency and public spending, both in terms of legislation and the examination of the draft finance bill and settlement laws, and in areas of control and evaluation of public policies.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, discussions also highlighted the progress achieved by the House and its structures in furthering this momentum and effectively exercising its powers.



The delegation is conducting an exploratory working visit to the Kingdom of Morocco on September 8 and 9, as part of the cooperation program linking the Dutch National Academy for Finance and Economics to the Moroccan Ministry of Economy and Finance, which prioritizes issues related to financial efficiency.



This delegation consists of Maarten De Jong, researcher at the Court of Audit, Johannes Hers, expert in public finance management and former head of public finance at the Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis, Melek Oncu, head of external relations at the Dutch Ministry of Finance, and Ali Davarci, program manager at the Academy.
