Rabat: Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held a telephone conversation on Friday with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The discussion centered on the ongoing cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Russian Federation, with both ministers expressing satisfaction with the current state of their bilateral relations.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening and deepening the partnership between the two nations. This exchange marks the tenth anniversary of the Deepened Strategic Partnership, an agreement signed in March 2016 during a visit by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to Moscow.
During the conversation, Bourita and Lavrov also addressed several regional and international issues. They emphasized the necessity of continued consultation and coordination to enhance global peace and stability. The dialogue reflects both
countries’ desire to maintain a collaborative approach in addressing common challenges on the international stage.
