Lille: Moroccan international Ayyoub Bouaddi is set to leave Lille to sign a long-term contract with Manchester City, marking a record transfer worth 100 million euros.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the negotiations between Lille and Manchester City, which had been challenging in recent days, ultimately resulted in an agreement.

The French media outlet reported that the financial terms of the transfer constitute a record for Lille Olympique Sporting Club (LOSC), with the deal amounting to 100 million euros, including bonuses. Ayyoub Bouaddi is expected to join Manchester City for five seasons, with an additional year as an option.

Before officially departing LOSC, Bouaddi traveled to Angers but will not be in the squad, making it his last trip with his teammates. Present at the Raymond Kopa Stadium, Bouaddi, 18, will not play for Lille against Angers this Sunday afternoon.
