Moroccan Investment Opportunities Spotlighted in Italy


Treviso: Participants in a meeting on Morocco’s business climate on Friday in Treviso, in the Italian region of Veneto, highlighted the Kingdom’s vast investment opportunities and economic potential in various fields.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, during a conference as part of the 11th Italian-Moroccan Festival, speakers of different backgrounds highlighted the favorable framework offered by Morocco to foreign investors, particularly Italian, lauding the major reforms undertaken by the Kingdom to encourage and promote investment and the promotion of Moroccan skills.



On this occasion, Moroccan expert Mohamed El Gherrass pointed out that the Kingdom has deployed sectoral strategies and support programs for the benefit of foreign businessmen as well as members of the Moroccan community, while paying particular attention to vocational training in support of this economic momentum. With over 1,500 vocational training institutes and 12 Training Centers (CMC), Morocco aims to have a skilled workforce capable of meeting all the needs of businesses and Industry 4.0, he added.



For his part, French academic and jurist Hubert Seillan stressed that Morocco is ‘spearheading’ North-South relations, particularly in view of its location between Europe and Africa and its stability, making it ‘a territory with the best factors for investment and cooperation’.



The economic forum at the Italian-Moroccan Festival in Treviso (May 22-25) was attended by several Italian businessmen and members of the Moroccan community established in this European country, as well as other personalities from the world of the arts, politics, and diplomacy.
