Rabat: “This is a historic development that illustrates the visionary and far-sighted leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, whose insightful diplomacy has successfully combined the defense of sacred national principles with an enduring commitment to peace, stability, and international legality,” detailed the professor and researcher at the George Mason Law Center for the Middle East and International Law in a statement to MAP.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the professor highlighted Morocco’s active and foresighted Royal diplomacy and constructive engagement anchored in dialogue, development, and mutual respect. He noted that this “wise and measured” approach has turned the Kingdom into a respected and influential partner in the international community.
The expert emphasized that, thanks to this forward-looking vision, the Kingdom was transformed into a “credible model of stability and pragmatism” within an often volatile regional landscape. He also spoke of His Majesty the King’s call for a “sincere brotherly” dialogue with Algeria, stressing that Morocco’s outstretched hand illustrates an approach animated not by triumphalism but by the vision of a united Maghreb.
The U.S. expert concluded that this moment vindicates a diplomacy of wisdom and foresight, one that seeks to transform a decades-old conflict into a foundation for enduring regional cooperation, stability, and collective advancement.
