Morocco and Russia Aim to Expand Cooperation Across Multiple Sectors – FM


Rabat: Morocco’s Foreign Minister highlighted the ambition to elevate Morocco-Russia cooperation during a session co-chaired with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev. The meeting aims to fulfill the aspirations of King Mohammed VI and President Vladimir Putin by advancing joint cooperation to broader horizons.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Morocco-Russia relations offer opportunities for collaboration in trade, investment, technical cooperation, tourism, energy, and education. The Foreign Minister emphasized the notable development in bilateral relations since King Mohammed VI’s historic visit to Moscow in 2016, which has yielded positive results.



The meeting coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Deepened Strategic Partnership between the two nations, approved by King Mohammed VI and President Putin. This partnership underscores the personal ties and mutual respect shared by the two leaders. The session reflects the strong bilateral relations between Morocco and Russia, characterized by trust and collaboration on numerous issues.
