Morocco, Brazil to Strengthen Cooperation in Information & Communication Technologies


Rabat: Morocco and Brazil signed on Thursday a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform said in a press release. The agreement, signed during a meeting held in Rabat between the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, and the Brazilian Minister of Communications, Juscelino Filho, provides for the exchange of expertise, the sharing of best practices, and the promotion of joint initiatives to support the digital transition in both countries.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, in the context of the growing partnership between Morocco and Brazil, discussions during the meeting highlighted the importance of ICT, the digital economy, and digital transformation. The talks also emphasized the challenges related to improving connectivity and reducing inequalities in access to digital infrastructure, which are key drivers of economic and social development.
