On the instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, the Absent Prayer (Salat Al Ghaib) was performed on Sunday after the Addohr prayer, in all the Kingdom’s mosques, for the repose of the souls of the victims of the earthquake that shook several regions of Morocco.
After the performance of the Addohr and Absent Prayers, the faithful prayed to the Almighty to preserve His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, to surround him with His divine protection and to fulfill the Sovereign in the person of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and all the members of the illustrious Royal Family.
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs had announced on Saturday that “On the instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, may God assist Him, the Absent Prayer will be performed on Sunday 24 Safar 1445, corresponding to September 10, 2023, after the Addohr prayer in all the Kingdom’s mosques for the repose of the souls of the victims of the earthquake that shook Morocco.”
