Morocco Launches Investigation into Flash Floods That Claimed 37 Lives in Safi


Rabat: Morocco’s prosecution opened an investigation following the torrential rain that hit the province of Safi on Sunday evening, claiming 37 lives according to a preliminary report, announced the King’s Prosecutor General at the Court of Appeal of Safi.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the prosecution launched an investigation through the judicial police in order to determine the real causes behind the tragic incident and to unveil its circumstances, said, in a statement on Monday, the King’s Prosecutor General at the Court of Appeal of Safi.
