Rabat: Eid al-Fitr 1446 A.H. will be celebrated in Morocco tomorrow, Monday, March 31, 2025, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs on Sunday evening announced.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the ministry stated that it had sighted the crescent moon after the Al Maghrib prayer on Sunday, the 29th of Ramadan 1446 A.H, corresponding to March 30, 2025. This sighting confirmed the commencement of the month of Shaoual 1446 H.

As a result, the first day of Shawwal 1446 H, Eid al-Fitr, will be observed on Monday, March 31, 2025, the ministry noted.

The press release concluded with prayers for divine blessings upon His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, and for HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, and all members of the Royal Family. It also conveyed wishes for progress and prosperity for the Moroccan people and the entire Islamic Ummah.
