Rabat: The Kingdom of Morocco has expressed its high esteem for the sustained initiatives and personal commitment of His Excellency Donald Trump, acknowledging his decisive contribution to the recent announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement welcoming the continuous efforts of all mediators involved in reaching this hopeful outcome.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Kingdom of Morocco has called on all parties involved to fully implement the agreement to preserve human lives, liberate hostages and prisoners, deliver humanitarian aid promptly and in sufficient quantities, initiate the reconstruction process, and work towards a just, comprehensive, and lasting solution to the Palestinian cause.

The statement further emphasized Morocco’s unwavering commitment to the two-state solution as the sole basis for achieving a just and lasting peace in the region. This includes the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian State along the June 4, 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Asharif as its capital, inclusive of the Gaza Strip, coexisting peacefully with the State of Israel.

The Kingdom of Morocco has also reiterated its full willingness to actively contribute to all agreed-upon steps and processes necessary to guarantee the rights of the Palestinian people and support the stability of the Middle Eastern region.
