Casablanca: Morocco’s national airline has announced the launch of four new direct routes from its Casablanca hub, expanding its reach to Munich (Germany), Ndjamena (Chad), Sal Island (Cape Verde), and Zurich (Switzerland). These new routes reflect the airline’s ambition to meet the expectations of a diverse customer base.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the new routes will begin with the Casablanca-Zurich, Casablanca-Ndjamena, and Casablanca-Sal Island routes, each operating with two weekly flights starting September 17. On October 20, 2025, the airline will introduce a direct route between Casablanca and Munich, also with two weekly flights.
The introduction of routes to Ndjamena and Sal Island is part of the airline’s continental strategy, aimed at expanding its African network. This move is expected to facilitate intra-African travel and enhance exchanges between Africa and other continents.
