Morocco’s Beni Mellal-Khenifra and Mauritania’s Inchiri Regions Bolster Bilateral Cooperation


Beni mellal: Initialed by Adil Barakat and Cheikh Maouelainine El Gharabi, respectively president of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region and president of the Inchiri region, this agreement aims to establish a framework for sustainable cooperation between the two regions based on the exchange of expertise, capacity building for local actors, and support for joint development initiatives.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the agreement also strives to promote joint working relationships between the two regional authorities, illustrating the deep historical and fraternal ties that unite the Kingdom of Morocco and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The visit by the delegation from the Inchiri region to Beni Mellal-Khenifra is a crucial step toward deepening dialogue and exploring opportunities for cooperation, with both sides sharing the same desire to promote regional development, exchange expertise, and bolster the capacities of local actors.
