Rabat: Morocco’s cement sales soared 9.45% to 13.7 million tons in 2024, according to the Ministry of National Territory and Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the distribution-targeted deliveries reached 7.88 million tons. The next significant market segment was ready-mixed concrete, which accounted for 3.05 million tons. Precast concrete deliveries amounted to 1.33 million tons, while construction projects received 446,063 tons of cement. Infrastructure projects utilized 909,027 tons, and mortars accounted for 69,146 tons, as highlighted in the Ministry’s monthly note on cement deliveries.
