New york: Morocco’s Foreign Minister, Mr. Bourita, engaged in a series of bilateral discussions with key international counterparts on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly. These meetings aimed to enhance bilateral cooperation and address pressing regional and international issues.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Mr. Bourita met with Amy Pope, the Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), to discuss avenues for collaboration. Additionally, he held talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and Ghana’s Foreign Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. These discussions focused on strengthening partnerships and coordinating positions within international bodies.
During these engagements, officials explored cooperation across various sectors, seeking to fortify their partnerships. The meetings also provided a platform to address mutual interests and coordinate strategies on several regional and international fronts.
