Morocco’s FM Welcomes Rwandan Counterpart With Message From President Kagame


Rabat: Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita received Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Olivier Nduhungirehe, who delivered a written message from Rwandan President Paul Kagame to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, during the meeting, the two ministers celebrated the friendship and mutual respect between their respective Heads of State. They commended the ongoing momentum in bilateral cooperation, especially in areas like security, training, and sustainable development, and reiterated their commitment to further enhancing these ties.



The discussions also focused on exploring ways to strengthen cooperation in additional priority sectors. The Rwandan Foreign Minister highlighted that he and Bourita discussed regional and international issues of shared interest, emphasizing the shared determination of their Heads of State to bolster Moroccan-Rwandan relations and advance African interests.



Furthermore, he lauded the successful organization of the 2nd Ministerial Conference on Peacekeeping in a Francophone Environment, which took place on Wednesday in Rabat.
