Rabat: Morocco’s Foreign Minister, Nasser Bourita, recently hosted Job Ndugai Zungu, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania, for discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral relations. Zungu, in a statement to the press following the talks, emphasized Tanzania’s intent to bolster cooperative ties with Morocco.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Zungu underlined the historical depth of the relations between Tanzania and Morocco. He expressed optimism that these connections would be further strengthened, especially in the realm of parliamentary diplomacy. Zungu highlighted that the visit to Morocco serves as a platform to enhance collaboration between the two parliaments, fostering the exchange of experiences and expertise. He also acknowledged the continuous support Morocco extends to his country.
Zungu’s visit marks his first official trip to Morocco since his election as Speaker of the National Assembly of the United Republic of Tanzania on November 11.
