Rabat: Morocco’s Lower House Speaker recently engaged in talks with the Palestinian National Council Speaker, in a meeting which also saw the attendance of Jamal Al Shobaki, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine. The discussions centered on the excellent ties between Morocco and Palestine, as highlighted in a press release from the House.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, both parties acknowledged the special attention and importance that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, attaches to the Palestinian cause, which he considers a national issue. The meeting underscored the commitment to this cause, reflecting the strong bond between the two nations.
Furthermore, the talks included discussions on bilateral parliamentary relations and the Moroccan parliamentary experience. Both parties emphasized the need to reinforce cooperation and communication between the House of Representatives and the Palestinian National Council. They also stressed the importance of enhancing coordination in various regional and international parliamentary forums.
