Rabat: The Military Housing and Equipment Agency (ALEM) held a significant Board of Directors meeting in Rabat, chaired by Abdeltif Loudyi, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of National Defense Administration. The session focused on various agenda items, including the achievements of the 2025 financial year, the action plan for 2026-2028, and the approval of the 2026 provisional budget.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the meeting began with opening remarks from the Chairman, who emphasized the importance of the Agency’s accomplishments in 2025 and commended the efforts to adhere to the established guidelines. He highlighted the necessity of consolidating these achievements and enhancing the impact of actions for the Royal Armed Forces, in alignment with the vision of His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
The Council reviewed a detailed report on 2025 achievements, noting progress in housing projects, military facilities construction, and addressing non-compliant housing. During this year, the Agency provided upfront assistance to over 4,000 new buyers, totaling nearly 52,000 beneficiaries eligible for the home ownership support mechanism. Furthermore, 1,300 households in substandard housing on military land were supported, and approximately 5,300 housing units were made available to the Agency’s clients.
The 2026-2028 action plan, discussed during the meeting, outlines strategic guidelines focusing on investments in housing and military infrastructure, ongoing assistance provision, and land development for housing estates under the “CHOUHADA” operation. The Board approved the Agency’s 2025 annual accounts, the 2026 budget, and the investment programs’ action and financing plan for 2026-2028.
Concluding the meeting, a message of allegiance and loyalty was sent to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in honor of the ALEM Board of Directors meeting.
