Morocco’s Top Police Chief Receives Japan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Rabat


Rabat: Morocco’s Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance (DGSN-DGST) Abdellatif Hammouchi received on Wednesday in Rabat Japan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Morocco Nakata Masahiro. This meeting forms part of Morocco and Japan’s commitment to bolstering their joint cooperation on security matters and diversifying forms and levels of their security partnership, in the interest of both countries’ security and stability.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, during the meeting, the two sides discussed several issues and matters of mutual interest, while also reviewing several current international and regional topics related to the security of both countries. Similarly, the two sides expressed their desire to develop and strengthen their cooperation and partnership in all security-related fields.



The meeting seeks to reinforce security and police cooperation between the DGSN-DGST hub, on the one hand, and various international partners in friendly and allied countries, as well as relevant international organizations, on the other. This effort aims to align perspectives and coordinate joint efforts to address various security threats and challenges related to terrorism and cross-border organized crime.
