National Organic Sector Shines at Paris’s Natexpo 2025, with Morocco in the Spotlight

Paris: Under the theme of “authentic flavours,” the Moroccan pavilion was officially inaugurated on Monday at the “Paris Expo Porte de Versailles” exhibition centre by the Ambassador of His Majesty the King to France, Samira Sitail, in the presence of the Managing Director of the show’s organising company, Val©rie Lemant, the Vice-President of “Maison de la Bio,” representing companies in the French sector, Didier Perr©ol, as well as the President of the interprofessional federation of the Moroccan organic sector, Maroc BIO, Zineb Laghzaoui. Together with the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), Maroc BIO is overseeing national participation in the international organic products fair Natexpo, alongside the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, located at the heart of the fair, the Moroccan stand brings together around twenty producing and exporting companies which, since Sunday, have been showcasing a rich and diverse range of food and cosmetic products, demonstrating the dynamism of the promising “Maroc Bio” sector. In a speech on this occasion, Sitail stated that she had been able to appreciate the quality of the national organic offering while visiting each of the 18 stands that make up the Moroccan pavilion, noting “all this enthusiasm” around “the promotion of Moroccan products.”

“There are those we already know-argan oil, prickly pear seed oil, olive oil, dates, and of course roses-flagship products of the Moroccan terroir and the organic sector. But there are also others we are discovering, such as aromatic plants, carob, and seaweed,” listed the diplomat, delighted to see so many value-added products. For her part, Lemant emphasized that Natexpo is “very happy and very proud to welcome Morocco for the first time with its own pavilion. Morocco, which we are delighted to place in the spotlight in this beautiful 2025 edition.”

“The organic sector is a key and promising sector in your beautiful, historically agricultural country,” added the Managing Director of SPAS Organisation, addressing the Moroccan participants. Around 12,000 professional visitors are expected to attend this edition of the international organic products fair Natexpo, which, according to its organisers, has established itself as the essential event for all actors in the organic sector, in France and internationally, around a shared vision: promoting the organic sector in all its diversity.
