Palestine and Jordan discuss joint effort to stop the Israeli aggression on Jenin

Palestine and Jordan today discussed joint effort to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression on the northern West Bank city of Jenin that so far left five Palestinians dead and more than 30 injured. Hussein al-Sheikh, the Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) said in a tweet that he held an urgent call this morning with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi. 'We discussed the development of the situation in Jenin and the joint effort at the Arab and international levels to stop the Israeli aggression against Jenin and its camp,' he said. 'This continuous aggression against our people will drag the region into a spiral of violence and instability.'
