This visit is part of the Agency’s action program relating to social assistance, carried out in implementation of the High Directives of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, and under the direct supervision of the Sovereign, for the benefit of several sectors in the Holy City.
According to a statement from the agency, the Palestinian delegation is composed of the director of Augusta Victoria Hospital (Al-Mutlaa) and Secretary General of the Network of Hospitals in Al-Quds East, Fadi Al Atrash, the director of Al Maqasid Hospital, Adnane Farhoud, the medical director of St. Joseph’s Hospital (French), Maher Deeb, and the representative of the Arab Health Center and Al-Aqsa Asharif clinics, Mohamed Jadallah.
The delegation, which is also composed of medical executives and professors, is expected to present Thursday the Palestinian experience at a symposium on the emergency cases management, scheduled at the National School of Public Health in Rabat, adds the same source.
The program also includes visits to several hospitals, faculties of medicine and pharmacy in Rabat and Casablanca and national reference laboratories in order to explore the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
Similarly, a meeting is scheduled Tuesday at the headquarters of the Agency Bayt Mal Al-Quds, in the presence of health professionals in Morocco and the representative of the World Health Organization, to promote the hospital facilities of Al-Quds. A cooperation protocol between the Agency, the Network of hospitals in Al-Quds East and the hospital of Al-Maqasid Charity Association will also be signed to establish a coordination and monitoring cell dedicated to emergency cases.
The Palestinian delegation will visit the military medical services and the Mohammed V training hospital in Rabat to learn about the experience of the field hospitals, deployed by Morocco on the High Instructions of HM the King, to assist the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip, and will hold talks with officials and stakeholders of the health system in Morocco, the statement concludes.
