Rabat: Political parties have expressed strong approval of the Royal Speech delivered at the opening of the parliamentary session, highlighting its role as a roadmap for accelerating development efforts aimed at achieving territorial justice, especially in mountainous areas and oases, to benefit citizens.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the National Rally of Independents (RNI) underscored the significance of the strategic guidelines set forth by the Sovereign concerning the country’s development issues. The party emphasized that His Majesty the King highlighted the importance of next-generation territorial development programs, which stand as major priorities extending beyond the government’s current timeframe of action.

In their statement, the RNI noted that the government is actively working on incorporating these programs into the 2026 Finance Bill to provide a substantial boost to the process of building an emerging and united Morocco. This initiative aims to establish territorial justice with a focus on vulnerable areas, notably mountainous regions, oases, and the coastline, via the effective implementation of sustainable development levers along the national coast.

The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) expressed profound pride in the strategic orientations and substance of the Royal Speech, describing it as a clear roadmap for comprehensive national development. During a communication meeting in Rabat, Fatima SaSdi, a member of the party’s collegial leadership, conveyed that His Majesty the King’s guidance on unifying major programs and strengthening development in mountainous regions, oases, and coastal and rural centers are strategic pillars for achieving balanced spatial and social justice.

She asserted that the party is committed to realizing this Royal Vision of a cohesive Morocco, based on equal opportunities and fair distribution of development gains. The party called for continued mobilization among all its bodies to translate the Royal Speech’s main lines into concrete action.

The Party for the Environment and Sustainable Development also commended the Royal Speech, expressing its full support for the projects and programs initiated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the country’s comprehensive development. The political party stated that social and territorial justice is fundamental for achieving balanced development to serve the citizens.
