RNI’s Electoral Program, Fruit of Long Listening and Consultation Process, Says Party Head

Rabat: The electoral program of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) for the September 23 legislative elections is the outcome of a broad process of listening and consultation aimed at identifying challenges and proposing solutions within a societal project and citizen contract, RNI President Mohamed Chouki said.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Chouki emphasized that the elections “come after years of sustained economic growth and consolidation of the social State,” aligning with the High Royal Guidelines and highlighting the government’s contributions under the leadership of Aziz Akhannouch. The program, under the slogan “Dignity and Opportunities for All,” focuses on three main commitments: protecting purchasing power, ensuring quality public services across the nation, and promoting economic inclusion.

The proposed measures include wage increases and support for vulnerable and middle-class households. They also aim to improve health and education infrastructure, expand rural access to drinking water, promote household solar power generation, provide unemployment compensation, and offer social protection for seasonal workers. Furthermore, the program includes zero-interest productive loans as part of its economic initiatives.

Chouki noted that the measures are designed to generate employment by leveraging Morocco’s favorable investment climate and major international events, while also promoting innovative financing solutions. He reaffirmed the RNI’s dedication to enhancing Morocco’s democratic process and expressed the party’s full readiness for the elections. The candidate lists are reported to be a mix of new, younger profiles and experienced former parliamentarians, reflecting a balance of renewal and expertise.

Concluding his remarks, Chouki emphasized the RNI’s commitment to electoral-law reform, which aims to consolidate the electoral system and ensure the transparency and integrity of the voting process.
