Rabat: Prime Minister of Saint Lucia Philip Joseph Pierre reiterated on Thursday in Rabat his country’s full support for Morocco’s sovereignty over its Sahara and expressed great appreciation for the Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for a united and active South-South cooperation.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia reiterated his support for the Moroccan Autonomy Plan as the only credible, serious, and realistic solution to definitely resolve the regional dispute over Moroccan Sahara. He emphasized the longstanding relations and friendship between Saint Lucia and Morocco, expressing the desire to enhance these ties as part of South-South cooperation.

Joseph Pierre also expressed gratitude for the scholarships Morocco offers to students from Saint Lucia, highlighting the educational collaboration between the two nations.
