Rabat: The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Morocco, Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, on Wednesday in Rabat praised the tireless efforts and constant support provided by the Kingdom of Morocco to Al-Quds and Palestine, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, during a visit to the headquarters of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, the Saudi diplomat highlighted the role of this pioneering institution in safeguarding the Holy City. The considerable efforts deployed in several social sectors have contributed to strengthening the resilience of the Maqdisis, as stated in a statement from the Agency.
On this occasion, the same source added, the Managing Director of the Agency, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, presented the Agency’s efforts and an overview of its achievements for the year 2025 in the fields of education, health, social assistance, and human development. These efforts are in implementation of the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God preserve Him, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.
In this context, Cherkaoui noted that the Agency carried out 66 projects with a total budget of USD 8 million, funded by the Kingdom of Morocco, including USD 1.5 million allocated to humanitarian aid projects in Gaza. These projects were implemented as part of the Agency’s contribution to the national mobilization efforts during the war in Gaza, with a view to providing aid and assistance to the Palestinians, in accordance with the High Directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.
