Rabat: In a press release, the party highlights the wise and effective Royal diplomacy in managing the first national cause over the past 26 years, which has led to growing international recognition of the Kingdom’s full sovereignty over its Southern provinces and made the Autonomy Initiative the only and unique basis for any negotiations.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the RNI stresses that this historic resolution, which has confirmed the legitimacy of Morocco’s position and the rightfulness of its cause, is an eloquent illustration of the superiority of the autonomy initiative, supported by a clear-sighted vision of economic, social, and human rights development, which establishes Southern provinces as a pioneering model of development and prosperity and a symbol of unwavering national unity under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

In this regard, the political party welcomes His Majesty the King’s call in His Speech to “our brothers in the Tindouf camps to seize this historic opportunity in order to reunite with their families, and take advantage of the Autonomy Initiative. That Initiative makes it possible for them to contribute to managing their local affairs, develop their homeland, and build their future within a unified Morocco.”

The RNI also welcomes the Sovereign’s call upon the Algerian president for “a sincere, brotherly dialogue between Morocco and Algeria” in order to overcome differences and lay the foundations for new relations based on trust, fraternal bonds, and good neighborliness.
