Snowfall and Rainfall Forecasted in Moroccan Provinces on Monday and Tuesday


Rabat: Snowfall ranging from 5 to 30 cm is predicted at elevations above 1,700 meters, alongside heavy stormy rainfall measuring 20 to 30 mm with hail, on Monday and Tuesday across various provinces in Morocco, as announced by the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the DGM has issued an orange weather alert indicating that snow accumulation between 15 to 30 cm is expected to occur from noon on Monday until 7 a.m. on Tuesday in the provinces of Azilal, B©ni Mellal, Midelt, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, and Al Haouz.



Additionally, a snowfall ranging from 5 to 10 cm is projected during the same timeframe in the provinces of Ifrane, Boulemane, Taroudant, and Chichaoua, as reported by the same source.



Furthermore, the provinces of Figuig, Errachidia, Midelt, and Tinghir are anticipated to experience heavy rain between 20 to 30 mm, accompanied by local thunderstorms and hail, from midnight to 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
