Rabat: The Speech delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Nation on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the Sovereign’s accession to the throne of his glorious ancestors is a message of hope, reflecting confidence in the future and the continuation of the Kingdom’s development momentum, Spanish academic Rafael Esparza Machn said. In a statement to MAP, the Spanish academic noted that the Sovereign took stock of the Kingdom’s achievements, made possible by a sustained drive toward modernization that helped Morocco stand as a leading player on regional and international stages.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Royal Speech further illustrates a country’s great pride in making significant progress while addressing, with clarity and transparency, the challenges to be overcome in order to sustain this virtuous cycle of development, he emphasized. Esparza Machn then stated that the Royal Speech also serves as a message of hope and confidence in the future, recalling that the Sovereign referred to the upcoming elections in September, which will open a new chapter on the path toward continuing reforms and the efficient implementation of public policies up to citizens’ expectations.
He also highlighted the vision for the future put forward by His Majesty the King, noting that the progress made extends to all regions of the Kingdom in sustained development. For the Spanish scholar, the Throne Speech is a message that is both realistic and resolutely forward-looking, reflecting trust in the Kingdom’s ability to continue on its upward trajectory of development.
