Rabat: ‘At the bilateral level, the relations between the Spanish National Police and Morocco’s General Directorate for National Security are excellent in combating terrorism, organized crime, and human trafficking networks,’ Pardo Piqueras told reporters after his talks with Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, on the sidelines of the 93rd INTERPOL General Assembly.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Pardo Piqueras expressed satisfaction with the ongoing security cooperation between the two countries, highlighting the significance of intensifying information sharing, conducting joint operations, and enhancing the fight against organized crime and terrorism. He emphasized that addressing security risks requires a joint effort founded on respect and trust.

Pardo Piqueras also commended Morocco’s hosting of INTERPOL’s supreme governing body, noting that it will have positive effects on the collaborative efforts to address global security challenges.
