Spirit of Green March Fuels Morocco’s Contemporary Growth, Says French Expert

Rabat: Thanks to an ambitious and inclusive development plan, Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, is currently undergoing remarkable economic, social, human, and urban growth inspired by the mobilizing spirit of the Green March, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, he said in an interview with MAP.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Dupuy highlighted the major development momentum in Morocco’s Southern provinces through structuring projects, such as the port of Dakhla Atlantique, designed with a view to opening up to the entire Atlantic coast.

This development momentum, he noted, is part of a visionary approach driving new potential for win-win cooperation and co-development, as evidenced by the Atlantic Initiative spearheaded by the Sovereign in favor of an Africa that relies on its own resources and is open to the world.

For the 23 beneficiary countries that board the Atlantic Ocean, Morocco will become their “window of vitality” to access resources and export their we
alth, Dupuy explained.

The development of Southern provinces, he added, is therefore not only beneficial for Morocco, but also for all those around the Kingdom who deem it a gateway of opportunity.
