Minister of Sustainable Development, Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, met the Israeli Minister of Environmental Protection, Idit Silman, on the sidelines of the participation of the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2023, to present the Kingdom’s second Voluntary National Review (VNR) on the progress made towards achieving the SDGs and accelerating the realisation of the 2030 Agenda.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Jamal Al Rowaiei, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations, and a number of officials.
The two sides discussed the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel, particularly in relation to accelerating the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.
