A scientific meeting on logistics and transport was held in Tangier on Tuesday, with the participation of professors and students from Tangier’s École Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion (ENCG) and the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) of the Université Paris Saclay.

The seminar, which was attended by a delegation from the Logistics and Transport Management department of the IUT, featured a presentation on the current state of logistics in Morocco by Professor Brahim Benbaa of Tangier’s ENCG, with the active participation of Professors Mohamed Reghioui Hamzaoui and Ghizlan Mamouri, according to a release from the school.

IUT students presented their work on technological innovations applied to logistics and transport.

The meeting, held at the ENCG, was also an opportunity to examine ways of strengthening cooperation and exchanges of experience between the two institutions, in particular through the reciprocal mobility of students for internships or study periods, particularly within the framework of the “mobility credits” of the Erasmus+ program, according to the same source.

The two parties also agreed to seek partners around the theme of “sustainable logistics and transport” in order to create a consortium within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.

The French delegation, led by Gabriel Poloniecki, Deputy Director of IUT, included 42 students from the Bachelor of Technology and the “Logistics and Flow Management” professional courses, accompanied by professors Anne-Lucie Kargul and Ibra Thiam and Christine Daubé, teaching assistant.
