Tulkarm: Israeli forces continue assault on city and camp, detain three youths


TULKARM: The Israeli occupation forces Thursday detained three young men from the city of Tulkarm during the ongoing aggression on the camp for the third consecutive day.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces detained Mahdi Ziad al-Jayousi and Abdul Abu Asbah from their homes in the eastern neighborhood, and former detainee Moaz Samir al-Haroun after raiding his home in the western neighborhood of the city.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continue their aggression on the city and camp of Tulkarm, amidst sending more military reinforcements to them, and flying reconnaissance planes at low altitudes.

WAFA correspondent said that the occupation vehicles are stationed at the entrances to the camp, specifically Nablus Street adjacent to its main northern entrance, and are deploying infantry elements inside the streets and alleys in the camp’s neighborhoods, snipers in tall buildings, as well as number of houses that they have turned into military barracks after forcibly evicting their residents.

he occupation forces continue besieging the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city, as their vehicles are stationed at the main emergency entrance, obstructing the work of ambulance crews and patients as they enter or leave the hospital, and subjecting them to interrogation.

Last night, an occupation bulldozer razed Shuwaika roundabout in the northern neighborhood of the city, causing great destruction to it, after it had destroyed and demolished it in the previous raid.

Last night, three young men were martyred after an occupation drone bombed a vehicle they were riding in in the Haj Masoud estate area in the Iktaba suburb east of Tulkarm. They were transferred in pieces and charred bodies to the city’s hospitals.

The slain youths were identified as Imad al-Din Khader Masoud Shahada, 28, from Nour Shams camp, Mohammad Nasser from Nour Shams camp, and Salah al-Din Ammar Badu from Shuwaika suburb north of Tulkarm.

Due to the continued storming of the city and camp of Tulkarm, the instabilit
y of the security situation, and the difficult situation experienced by the residents of the camps and the rest of the governorate, and in order to ensure the safety of students and teachers, the Directorate of Education said it will suspend classes today in all public and private schools and kindergartens.
