BEIRUT: Two individuals were killed this morning in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon, according to local and health reports.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center confirmed the casualties following a drone attack on the town of Naqoura in southern Lebanon this morning.
In addition to the drone strike, Israeli warplanes targeted the outskirts of the towns of Deir Mimas and Kafr Kela.
This escalation coincided with increased overflights by the Israeli occupation military and reconnaissance aircraft over the region.
